About Us

Two Tunics is a faith-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization helping women and girls in need of clothing. We strive to provide our surrounding communities with a service that gives our clients a sense of self worth through a loving and dignified “shopping” experience or personalized gift bag of clothing. We encourage, support and minister to women and girls through the collection and distribution of clean, high quality, new or gently used apparel, shoes and accessories. Two Tunics exists due to increasing, hidden, silent and unmet needs of those experiencing financial instability.
At Two Tunics, our mission is based on Luke 3:11 from the Bible in which John the Baptist, who is preparing the way for Jesus, instructs the people that if any of them has two tunics, they should give one to him who has none. Two Tunics hopes to spread the love of Jesus through these gifts of clothing. We believe what matters most is not the outward appearance, but the heart. However, how we present ourselves on the outside greatly affects our self esteem, our confidence, and the true person we were created to be by our loving Lord and Savior.

Anne Meads – Vice President

After graduating from The Fashion Institute of Technology, Anne moved to Chester County to pursue a career in merchandising at QVC, inc. Anne and her husband, Andy, have been blessed with two children (Mae & Avett) that she now cares for full time.

With a passion for fashion and a heart for helping others Anne has always felt an urge to use her gifts to serve others but wasn’t sure how. When her friend and fellow FIT alum, Jen, came up with the idea for Two Tunics, Anne felt the Lord’s calling and jumped at the chance to be her partner.

Jennifer Burke – President

After graduating from FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in NYC, working for multiple clothing companies such as Wayne Rogers, Skinny Minnie, Free People and Hartstrings, Jennifer enjoys working at home as a mother (to three children: Charlotte, Johnny & Violet) and wife to her husband, James.

In the Fall of 2019, Jennifer was listening to her pastor preach a sermon in church. He asked how we can use the gifts and experiences the Lord has given each of us to help and serve others in our community that are in need. She pondered this a bit and then felt the Lord laid on her heart this idea of a “Giving Boutique”…to collect high quality clothing from individuals & boutiques in the community, and freely give to women and girls in need. She lives in Chester County, Pennsylvania, where income levels vary drastically from town to town. She asked her friend, and sister in Christ, Anne, if she would embark on this adventure of serving the Lord with her, and happily she agreed! And so was born Two Tunics…
